How to Submit a Drop Request Through the Customer Portal

After logging into your account, click the MY ACCOUNT link in the toolbar at the top of the screen.

Click the “Enrolments” icon under the student for whom you wish to request a transfer.

This will bring up a list of all current enrolments for the student.

Click the DROP ENROLLMENT button next to the class you wish to drop to bring up the “Drop Enrollment Request” window.

Enter the preferred DROP DATE along with any NOTES explaining why you are requesting to drop the enrolment.

Click “Yes, please drop!” to submit the drop request, or “Cancel” to close the window without submitting the request.

 

How to Submit a Transfer Request Through the Customer Portal

After logging into your account, click the MY ACCOUNT link in the toolbar at the top of the screen.

Click the “Enrollments” icon under the student for whom you wish to request a transfer.

This will bring up a list of all current enrollments for the student.

Click the TRANSFER ENROLLMENT button next to the class you wish to transfer FROM to launch the “Pick a Class” screen and initiate the transfer request.

Click on the class you wish to transfer INTO. This will launc the “Transfer Enrollment Request” window.

Enter the TRANSFER DATE (the date you wish to start the new class), along with any NOTES explaining why you are requesting the transfer.

Click “Yes, please transfer!” to submit the transfer request, or “Cancel” to close the window without submitting the request.

 

How to Submit a Future Absence Request Through the Customer Portal

After logging into your account, click the MY ACCOUNT link in the toolbar at the top of the screen.

Click the “Future Absences” icon under the student for whom you wish to record a future absence.

This will launch the “How do you want to create a future absence?” wizard. Answer the questions as prompted to create the future absence request.

 

How to Request to use a Makeup Token

Log into the Parent Portal using your email address and password.

Click on “Makeups” in the menu.

This will bring up the list of students in the family with the number of available makeup tokens.

Clicking the down arrow next to the student will display details about each token (such as availability status and creation/expiration dates).

Click the “Request” button (to submit a makeup request for staff approval) next to the token details to schedule the makeup lesson.

On the next screen, the system will search for a list of eligible classes based on the token’s settings and the selected makeup date.

Note: By default the system looks at classes on the current date; this can be changed by using the date picker to the right of the search box.

Once you have located the class you wish to request a makeup in, click the button to either  “Use Token” or “Request”.

This will bring up a confirmation screen. To submit the makeup request, click Confirm.

Launching and Using the App

When first launching the app, customers will be prompted to enter the name of the organisation [actingandcommunicationacademy] and click SUBMIT.

After clicking SUBMIT, customers will be prompted to either “Log In” or “Create an Account.”  If they choose to “Log In”, they will use their existing email address and password.  If they choose to “Create an Account” they will follow the same steps used to establish a new account through the usual Customer Portal (including receipt of a verification email).

Once logged in, parents will be taken to the Account Dashboard (They may be asked to agree to your Policies first, if they have not done so previously.)  The Dashboard shows any news or upcoming events and also presents them with links along the bottom to perform specific tasks:
