About Kayte Lewis Borg

Kayte is passionate about helping people find their voice, grow in confidence and produce results. Kayte’s background is in performing arts. Her career commenced as a professional performer over 25 years ago. Her lifetime of experience encompasses working as an actor, writer, director and producer and industry lawyer.

Kayte commenced at MLC in 2010 as artist in residence to direct a contemporary Shakespearean production and has operated the Acting and Communication Academy at MLC School and Trinity Preparatory Grammar School for over six years.

Kayte is head of our Corporate Training Programs and is regularly engaged to work with Corporate clients as a professional development specialist. Kayte personally oversees the design and implementation of the extensive curriculum at the Academy.




Lily is the Head of our Schools Program. Lily has a lifelong passion for performing and teaching! Lily New has taught within the Trinity College London Syllabus for over 6 years across all areas including Speech and Drama, Communication Skills, Performance Arts and Musical Theatre. Lily completed her ATCL Diploma in Performing and in Teaching Speech and Drama in 2012, she then went on to study at the Australian Academy of Dramatic Art in 2014 before taking on her position as Manager and Head of Schools Programs for the Acting and Communication Academy.



Sarah is an Adelaide girl at heart. She moved to Sydney in 2014 to study acting at the New York Film Academy and is a recent graduate from the Bachelor of Arts (Music Theatre) at Federation University, Sydney. Outside of the performing arts Sarah is an avid AFL supporter and works in a chocolate shop!



Chris has taught, directed and devised shows for The Actor’s Centre, the Australian Theatre for Young People, the Australian Institute of Music - Dramatic Arts, E-studio, Casula Powerhouse and Shopfront Youth Theatre. Most recently for The Studio he devised and directed I am not a Feminist [No Women Aloud] with MLC students.



Stephen has extensive experience in theatre and the arts, and has worked in arts administration, as an actor, producer, or theatre manager for most of his adult life. Some highlights from Stephen’s career include working with David and Kristin Williamson on the inaugural Noosa Longweekend, a 10-day cultural festival (during which he was introduced to Kayte) and as joint Patrons of 'theatre s' (the co-op theatre that Stephen ran with Kayte in the ’naughties'); and appearing in the Queensland Premieres of David’s plays ‘Operator’ and ‘Cruise Control’. Stephen worked as Theatre Manager of Noosa Arts Theatre for 9 years where he ran many aspects of the business including customer service, box office, subscriptions, and accounts. Since moving back to Sydney in 2017, Stephen has appeared in episodes of ‘Home and Away’, ‘Rake’, and ‘A Place to Call Home’.



June is an enthusiastic teacher and performer with a background in music and drama. She is actively involved in Speech and Drama, Effective Communication, Dance and the Entertainment Industry. June started off as an ESL student, achieving distinctions in all her Trinity College London grade exams in Speech and Drama and Performance Arts, before completing her ATCL Teaching Diploma at the age of 17, and has taught with the Acting and Communication Academy for the past three years.



Ruby has been a lifelong performer, beginning drama and dance training from a young age. In 2014 she completed her ATCL Diploma in Performing and in Teaching Speech and Drama, before graduating with outstanding results in the IB program at MLC School in 2016. Ruby's keen eye for detail and fun nature make her an excellent tutor for our younger students developing their clarity and confidence through speech and drama.
